Palmer is the borough seat of the Matanuska-Susitna Borough in the U.S. Family-friendly places like Matanuska Glacier and Horseback Riding Tours will thrill your kids. Step out of Palmer with an excursion to Matanuska Glacier State Recreational Site in Sutton--about 1h 30 min away.
