Founded in 1877 as a mining camp, Tombstone became one of the most storied towns of the "Wild West." As one of the last frontier boomtowns in the United States, Tombstone prospered between 1880 and 1890, attracting cattle rustlers and outlaws.
On the 3rd (Wed), examine the collection at Bisbee Mining & Historical Museum, then see the interesting displays at Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park, and then view the masterpieces at Quarles Art Gallery.

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Step out of the city life by going to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Rainbow Bridge National Monument. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Navajo National Monument and Off-Road Tours. There's still lots to do: get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour and explore the activities along Lake Powell.
