Kill Devil Hills is a town in Dare County, North Carolina. Nags Head Woods Preserve and Somerset Place State Historic Site will appeal to history buffs. You'll get in some beach time at Carova Beach and Frisco Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Kill Devil Hills: Buxton (Buxton Woods Nature Trail, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, &more), Hatteras Island Ocean Center (in Hatteras) and Corolla (Currituck Banks Reserve, Currituck Beach, &more). Spend the 31st (Sun) exploring nature at Cape Hatteras National Seashore. There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, explore the different monuments and memorials at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, make a trip to 1886 Roanoke River Lighthouse, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Sweetgum Swamp Trail.
