An internationally known ski resort, Steamboat Springs sits in the shadow of Mount Werner in north central Colorado.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Mount Werner and Yampa River Botanic Park. Step out of Steamboat Springs to go to Clark and see Elk River Guest Ranch, which is approximately 36 minutes away.
