Honolulu, Oahu

In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Escape the urban bustle at Waikiki Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like USS Arizona Memorial and Makapuu Lighthouse Trail. Step out of Honolulu to go to Kailua and see Lanikai Beach, which is approximately 34 minutes away. There's still lots to do: hike along Koko Crater Railway Trail, admire the verdant scenery at Nu’uanu Pali, appreciate the history behind Queen Liliuokalani Statue, and stroll the grounds of National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
