Holland is a city in the western region of the Lower Peninsula of the U.S. Get outdoors at Rosy Mound Natural Area and Upper Macatawa Cycling Trails. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Basilica of the Sacred Heart and Air Zoo. Venture out of the city with trips to W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary (in Augusta), Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve (in Niles) and South Bend (Grotto of Our Lady Lourdes & University of Notre Dame). Pack the 21st (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Nelis' Dutch Village. There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Gilmore Car Museum, tour the pleasant surroundings at Holland State Park Beach, enjoy the sand and surf at Oval Beach, and look for all kinds of wild species at Sarett Nature Center.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major airports are Kalamazoo Battle Creek International Airport, South Bend Regional Airport and General Mitchell International Airport. In April, plan for daily highs up to 15°C, and evening lows to 3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel back home.
