Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Nature & Wildlife Tours and Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like French Quarter and Garden District. Step out of New Orleans to go to Edgard and see Whitney Plantation, which is approximately 52 minutes away.
