The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.

You can drive from Moab to Kanab in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of car, bus, and shuttle; or fly. Expect slightly colder evenings in Kanab when traveling from Moab in June, with lows around 50°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Wed) so you can go by car to Salt Lake City.

Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.

Get a sense of the local culture at Temple Square and Park City Main Street Historic District. Escape the urban bustle at Rocky Mountain Outfitters and Provo Canyon Adventures. Drive from Kanab to Salt Lake City in 6 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or do a combination of car, bus, and train. When traveling from Kanab in June, plan for little chillier days and somewhat warmer nights in Salt Lake City: temperatures range from 89°F by day to 62°F at night.
