Orlando

— 15 nights

Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Daytona International Speedway and Madame Tussauds Orlando. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Orlando: Beach at Daytona Beach (in Daytona Beach), Cocoa Beach (Ron Jon Surf Shop & Cocoa Beach) and Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum (in Ponce Inlet). Have a day of magic on the 25th (Tue) at Walt Disney World Resort. Pack the 27th (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Universal's Islands of Adventure. There's lots more to do: get in on the family fun at Universal Orlando Resort, wander the streets of International Drive, look for all kinds of wild species at Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, and meet the residents at Brevard Zoo.

To see where to stay, reviews, maps, and more tourist information, you can read our Orlando vacation planner.

July in Orlando sees daily highs of 38°C and lows of 28°C at night. On the 8th (Tue), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
