Orlando

— 15 nights

Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets and World of Disney. Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum and Madame Tussauds Orlando will appeal to museum buffs. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Orlando: Ormond Beach (in Ormond Beach), Daytona Beach (Daytona International Speedway, Beach at Daytona Beach, &more) and Titusville (American Police Hall of Fame, American Space Museum & Space Walk of Fame, &more). Have a day of magic on the 28th (Sat) at Walt Disney World Resort. Pack the 3rd (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. The adventure continues: steep yourself in history at Stetson Mansion, buy something for everyone on your list at The Florida Mall, tour the pleasant surroundings at Marine Science Center, and look for gifts at The LEGO Store.

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major aiports are Orlando International Airport, Orlando Sanford International Airport, Daytona Beach International Airport, Leesburg International Airport and Lakeland Linder International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 38°C in July, and nighttime lows around 28°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 4th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
