Cheyenne is the capital and most populous city of the US state of Wyoming and the county seat of Laramie County. Bring the kids along to Wyoming State Museum and Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Laramie (Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site, Medicine Bow National Forest, &more). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Cheyenne Depot Museum, make a trip to Cheyenne Big Boots, immerse yourself in nature at Curt Gowdy State Park, and wander the wide-open spaces of Terry Bison Ranch.
