Prepare for much warmer weather when traveling from San Francisco in July: high temperatures in Las Vegas hover around 47°C and lows are around 32°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sun) so you can go by car to Page.

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.

Explore Page's surroundings by going to Kaibab National Forest (in Jacob Lake), Marble Canyon (River Rafting & Tubing & Marble Canyon) and Grand Canyon National Park (North Rim Visitor Center, Navajo Bridge, &more). Drive from Las Vegas to Page in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or do a combination of shuttle, bus, and taxi. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Las Vegas to Page due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Las Vegas in July, expect Page to be slightly colder, temps between 43°C and 26°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) early enough to catch the flight back home.
