You'll find plenty of places to visit near Las Vegas: Boulder City (Hoover Dam & Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum). There's lots more to do: ponder the design of Fountains of Bellagio, try your luck at Bellagio Hotel and Casino, see the interesting displays at The Mob Museum, and take in breathtaking views at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Sun) so you can go by car to Page.

Center of Canyon Country

Originally little more than a simple camp constructed to house workers who built a nearby dam on the Colorado River, Page is now a popular stop for travelers preparing a trip to Arizona's canyon country.
Explore Page's surroundings by going to Kaibab National Forest (in Jacob Lake), Marble Canyon (River Rafting & Tubing & Marble Canyon) and Grand Canyon National Park (North Rim Visitor Center, Navajo Bridge, &more). Drive from Las Vegas to Page in 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or do a combination of shuttle, bus, and taxi. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Las Vegas to Page due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Las Vegas in July, expect Page to be slightly colder, temps between 43°C and 26°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Sat) early enough to catch the flight back home.
