Best known for its 1692 witch trials, Salem has a number of significant historical sites, a bustling downtown, and many witch-themed attractions.
On the 20th (Sat), stroll around Salem Witch Trials Memorial, take an in-depth tour of The House of the Seven Gables, then explore the world behind art at Peabody Essex Museum, then get engrossed in the history at Salem Witch Museum, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Wicked Good Books. On your second day here, stroll the grounds of Old Burying Point Cemetery and then get engrossed in the history at Witch House.
