Augusta–Richmond County is a consolidated city-county on the central eastern border of the U.S. Step off the beaten path and head to Augusta Canal Discovery Center and The Boyhood Home of President Woodrow Wilson. Step off the beaten path and head to Aiken County Historical Museum and Hitchcock Woods.
