The 577 Foundation and Motown Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get in touch with nature at Oak Openings Preserve Metropark and Oakwood Metropark Nature Center. Explore Detroit's surroundings by going to Crosswinds Marsh (in New Boston), Paint Creek Trail (in Rochester) and Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge (in Oak Harbor).
