Kick off your visit on the 26th (Thu): explore the landscape on two wheels at Cherry Creek State Park and then take in the dramatic natural features at Roxborough State Park. You can find hoodoos--rock pillars formed by erosion--all around the world, but those of Bryce Canyon National Park remain the standard bearers thanks to their bright red color, tall stature, and arrangement in large amphitheaters.
Get outdoors at Navajo Loop Trail and Rim Trail. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Navajo/Queens Garden Loop and Three Wisemen. Spend the 29th (Sun) exploring nature at Under-the-Rim Trail. There's still lots to do: explore the stunning scenery at Sunset Point, get great views at Farview Point, and take in the dramatic natural features at Bryce Amphitheatre.

Kick off your visit on the 31st (Tue): get a taste of the local shopping with The Strip and then put a fun spin on your tour with Alibi Las Vegas. The time zone changes from Mountain Standard Time to Pacific Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. Traveling from Bryce Canyon National Park in December, expect Las Vegas to be much hotter, temps between 57°F and 39°F.
