In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
On the 18th (Fri), contemplate the waterfront views at Waimea Bay and then have unforgettable encounters with a shark diving experience. On your second day here, contemplate the long history of Iolani Palace, then contemplate the long history of Battleship Missouri Memorial, then see the interesting displays at USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, and finally kick back and relax at Lanikai Beach.
