In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Bring the kids along to Diamond Head State Monument and Waimea Valley. Visit Waikiki Beach and Lanikai Beach for some beach relaxation. Step out of Honolulu to go to Haleiwa and see Shark Diving, which is approximately 54 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: tour the pleasant surroundings at Koko Crater Railway Trail, contemplate the waterfront views at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, see the interesting displays at USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park, and get engrossed in the history at Iolani Palace.

Mumbai, India to Honolulu is an approximately 25-hour flight. The time zone changes from India Standard Time to Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time, which is usually a -15.5 hour difference. Koloa, Kauai — 3 nights

Kōloa is an unincorporated census-designated place (CDP) in Kauai County, Hawaii, United States. You'll get in some beach time at Poipu Beach Park and Polihale State Park. Get outdoors at Wailua Falls and Hanalei Beach. Venture out of the city with trips to Waimea Canyon State Park (in Waimea) and Na Pali Coast State Park (in Wainiha). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Shipwreck Beach, relax in the rural setting at Kauai Coffee Company, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.
