Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Take a break from the city and head to Seahurst Beach Park and Dungeness River Audubon Center. Popular historic sites such as Pioneer Square and West Point Lighthouse are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seattle: Tahoma National Cemetery (in Kent), Point No Point Lighthouse & Park (in Hansville) and Bloedel Reserve (in Bainbridge Island).
