Saint Ignace, usually written as St. Take a break from Saint Ignace with a short trip to Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, about 54 minutes away. There's much more to do: snap pictures at Mackinac Bridge, stroll around Colonial Michilimackinac, take some stellar pictures from Castle Rock, and take an unorthodox tour of Mystery Spot.

Lansing to Saint Ignace is an approximately 4-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of bus and flight. Traveling from Lansing in August, you will find days in Saint Ignace are little chillier (72°F), and nights are about the same (59°F).
