In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Escape the urban bustle at Kailua Beach Park and Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Waikiki Beach and Lanikai Beach. Explore Honolulu's surroundings by going to Polynesian Cultural Center (in Laie), Muumuu Heaven (in Kailua) and Sunset Beach Park (in Haleiwa). There's lots more to do: explore the different monuments and memorials at USS Arizona Memorial, trek along Manoa Falls, take in the pleasant sights at Diamond Head State Monument, and examine the collection at USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park.

For ratings, where to stay, more things to do, and more tourist information, refer to the Honolulu itinerary builder .

Bogota, Colombia to Honolulu is an approximately 18.5-hour flight. The time zone difference when traveling from Bogota to Honolulu is minus 5 hours. Kailua-Kona, Island of Hawaii

Thanks to its favorable location near a mountain range blocking the northeasterly trade winds, Kailua-Kona gets little rainfall, allowing adventure seekers and nature lovers a chance to enjoy over 300 days of sunshine each year.
Visit Hapuna Beach State Recreation Area and Kahaluu Beach for some beach relaxation. Get in touch with nature at Swim with Dolphins and Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park. Step out of Kailua-Kona to go to Captain Cook and see Big Island Bees, which is approximately 32 minutes away. The adventure continues: get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, shop like a local with Trudy's Island Arts, kick back and relax at Mauna Kea Beach, and experience rural life at Kona Coffee Living History Farm.

You can plan Kailua-Kona trip in no time by asking Inspirock to help create your itinerary.
