Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.

Get outdoors at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Adrenaline & Extreme Tours. Head to The Strip and The Forum Shops at Caesarsfor plenty of shopping. Change things up with these side-trips from Las Vegas: Henderson (Green Valley Range & Clark County Heritage Museum), Boulder City (Hoover Dam, Winged Figures of the Republic Statues, &more) and Valley of Fire State Park (in Overton). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at The Mob Museum, get curious at Bodies The Exhibition, browse the different shops at The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort, and take in nature's colorful creations at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens.
