Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. Take a break from the city and head to Bronx Zoo and Central Park Zoo. Shop till you drop at Fifth Avenue and SoHo. Venture out of the city with trips to Bayard Cutting Arboretum (in Great River) and Fire Island National Seashore (in Patchogue). There's lots more to do: appreciate the history behind 9/11 Memorial, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine, take in the pleasant sights at Times Square, and explore and take pictures at Central Park.

Beijing, China to New York City is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of train and flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 13 hours traveling from Beijing to New York City. Bring the kids along to Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and Longwood Gardens. Get in touch with nature at Cape May City Beaches and Valley Forge National Historical Park. Change things up with a short trip to Atlantic City Boardwalk in Atlantic City (about 1h 35 min away). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Rittenhouse Square, contemplate the long history of Powel House, take a stroll through Society Hill, and ponder the world of politics at Independence Hall.

The capital of the United States, the District of Columbia contains the lion's share of the country's most treasured monuments, memorials, and public museums.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Audubon Naturalist Society Woodend Sanctuary and National Mall. Get some cultural insight at National Air and Space Museum and Georgetown University. Get out of town with these interesting Washington DC side-trips: Breezy Point Beach (in Chesapeake Beach) and Baltimore (Fell's Point & Horseshoe Casino). There's still lots to do: meet the residents at National Zoological Park, ponder the world of politics at White House, pause for some photo ops at Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and admire the masterpieces at National Gallery of Art.
