Old Forge is a hamlet (and census-designated place) on New York State Route 28 in the town of Webb in Herkimer County, New York. Get out of town with these interesting Old Forge side-trips: Turning Stone Resort Casino (in Verona), Fort Stanwix National Monument (in Rome) and Verona Beach lighthouse (in Verona Beach). There's much more to do: make a splash at Enchanted Forest Water Safari, view the masterpieces at View Arts Center, hike along Castle Rock Trail, and hit the slopes at McCauley Mountain.
