Kick off your visit on the 27th (Wed): enjoy the sand and surf at Pine Grove Beach, get outside with Oceania Watersports, and then kick back and relax at Isla Verde Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: get a new perspective on things with Boat Tours & Water Sports and then stroll through Carolina Beach.

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Tamarindo Beach and Brava Beach. Relax by the water at Carlos Rosario Beach and Melones Beach. The adventure continues: identify plant and animal life at Culebra National Wildlife Refuge, visit a coastal fixture at Culebrita Lighthouse, examine the collection at Museo Historico de Culebra, and kick back and relax at Playa Punta Soldado Beach.

Culebra is very close to San Juan. In March, plan for daily highs up to 84°F, and evening lows to 73°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Sun) early enough to travel to Rincon.

A seaside playground in the Caribbean, Rincon was a small agricultural and fishing town until it hosted the 1968 World Surfing Championship.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Mon): admire the masterpieces at Museo de Arte de Aguadilla y del Caribe, soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, then look for gifts at Ocean State of Mind, and finally kick back and relax at Steps Beach. On the next day, enjoy the sand and surf at Shacks Beach, then kick back and relax at Survival Beach, and then enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Rompe Olas.

Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Tue) early enough to travel to Isla de Vieques.

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Bring the kids along to Stand-Up Paddleboarding and Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to La Chiva and Fishing Charters & Tours. The adventure continues: stroll through La Plata Beach, soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, visit a coastal fixture at Puerto Ferro Lighthouse, and don't miss a visit to La Gran Ceiba de Vieques.

You can do a combination of car and flight from Rincon to Isla de Vieques in 3 hours. Other options are to do a combination of car and ferry; or do a combination of car, shuttle, and ferry. In April, daily temperatures in Isla de Vieques can reach 85°F, while at night they dip to 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) so you can ride a ferry to Fajardo.

Fajardo is a small city and municipality in Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Culebra VIP & East and Monserrate Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Big Tree Trail and Sailcaribe Yacht Charters. Change things up with a short trip to El Yunque in El Yunque National Forest (about 30 minutes away).
