Take a break from the city and head to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The Strip and The Mob Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Las Vegas, make a side trip to see Boulder City/Hoover Dam Museum in Boulder City, approximately Boulder City away.
