In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.

Change things up with a short trip to Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie (about 1h 5 min away). There's more to do: browse the different shops at Ala Moana Center and identify plant and animal life at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve.

To find maps, traveler tips, and more tourist information, refer to the Honolulu vacation app.
