Mazama is an unincorporated community in Okanogan County (population 200) located in the Methow Valley of Washington, on the east slopes of the North Cascades and North Cascades National Park. Get outdoors at Ross Lake National Recreation Area and Maple Pass Loop. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Lake Chelan National Recreation Area and Blue Lake Trai. Change things up with these side-trips from Mazama: Gorge Creek Falls (in North Cascades National Park) and Winthrop (Falls Creek Falls Trail Head & Winthrop National Fish Hatchery).
