You can fly from Salt Lake City to Bryce Canyon National Park in 3 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus and car. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Salt Lake City in September, with highs in Bryce Canyon National Park at 24°C and lows at 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 7th (Thu) so you can drive to Zion National Park.

Traveling from Bryce Canyon National Park in September, expect Zion National Park to be somewhat warmer, temps between 34°C and 10°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Monument Valley.
