Honolulu to Loretto is an approximately 18.5-hour combination of flight and car. The time zone difference moving from Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time to Eastern Standard Time is 5 hours. When traveling from Honolulu in April, plan for a bit cooler days and colder nights in Loretto: temperatures range from 67°F by day to 44°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Thu) so you can go by car to Louisville.

Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Stitzel-Weller Distillery and Louisville Waterfront Park. Your inner history buff will appreciate Locust Grove and Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Louisville: Bardstown (Preservation Distillery, Lux Row Distillers, &more), Bernheim Arboretum & Forest (in Clermont) and Elizabethtown (Freeman Lake Park, Swope's Cars of Yesteryear Museum, &more).
