Oakville is a census-designated place (CDP) in the of Napa County, northern California.The population was 71 at the 2010 census.The local economy is based on Napa Valley wine production, and Oakville was formally declared a distinct appellation within the Napa Valley AVA in 1993. Start off your visit on the 14th (Sat): do a tasting at Robert Mondavi Winery, learn about winemaking at V. Sattui, do a tasting at Beringer Vineyards, then do a tasting at Castello di Amorosa, and finally view the masterpieces at Mumm Napa. On the 15th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: awaken your taste buds at some of the top wineries in the area.

You can do a combination of flight, taxi, and bus from Los Angeles to Oakville in 4.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus.
