Take a break from the city and head to Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge and Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge. Do some cultural sightseeing at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library and Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad National Historical Park. Philadelphia to Dover is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus.
