Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Step out of Las Vegas with an excursion to Hoover Dam in Boulder City--about 50 minutes away. There's much more to do: admire the local landmark of Fountains of Bellagio, take a stroll through The Strip, take in nature's colorful creations at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and make a trip to Stratosphere Tower.

A famed resort town since the early 20th century, Santa Monica sits on the picturesque Santa Monica Bay, bordered on three sides by the city of Los Angeles.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Venice Beach and Boardwalk, The Getty Center, Griffith Observatory, and other attractions you added. On the 4th (Sat), examine the collection at The Getty Center.
