Saint Ignace — 4 nights

Saint Ignace, usually written as St. Explore hidden gems such as Museum of Ojibwa Culture and Deer Ranch. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Saint Ignace: Sault Ste. Marie (Tower of History, Museum Ship Valley Camp, &more). There's lots more to do: immerse yourself in nature at Straits State Park, enjoy the sea views from Wawatam Lighthouse, and take in the waterfront at Huron Boardwalk.

Paradise — 3 nights

Paradise is an unincorporated community in Whitefish Township, Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan.Paradise is on the northeastern portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on the western side of Whitefish Bay, Lake Superior, about 60mi by road from Sault Ste. Explore hidden gems such as Point Iroquois Lighthouse and Kings Club Casino. There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Tahquamenon Falls, take in the dramatic scenery at Tahquamenon Falls State Park, look and learn at Whitefish Point Bird Observatory, and see the interesting displays at Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum.

Curtis — 3 nights

Portage Township is a civil township of Mackinac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Crisp Point Lighthouse and Muskallonge Lake State Park. Get out of town with these interesting Curtis side-trips: Newberry (Newberry Country Club & Oswald's Bear Ranch) and GarLyn Zoological Park (in Naubinway). The adventure continues: take in the exciting artwork at The Erickson Center for the Arts.
