Step out of the city life by going to Hamilton Grange National Memorial and Roosevelt Island. Appreciate the collections at 9/11 Memorial and New York Public Library. You'll find plenty of places to visit near New York City: Long Beach (in Long Beach), Sandy Hook (Gunnison Beach & Gateway National Recreation) and Jenkinson's Boardwalk (in Point Pleasant Beach). There's much more to do: explore the world behind art at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, put fashion in focus at Shop Gotham NYC Shopping Tours, stop by The Strand Bookstore, and take a stroll through Times Square.

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Step out of the city life by going to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Ormond Beach. Head to The Mall at Millenia and Disney Springsfor plenty of shopping. Get out of town with these interesting Orlando side-trips: Cocoa Beach (Cocoa Beach & Ron Jon Surf Shop), Beach at Daytona Beach (in Daytona Beach) and Cup O Pottery (in Oviedo). There's still lots to do: discover the magic at Happily Ever After Fireworks and admire the masterpieces at Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art.
