Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Do your shopping at The Strip and The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Resort. Step out of the city life by going to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Willow Beach. Step out of Las Vegas to go to Boulder City and see Hoover Dam, which is approximately 50 minutes away. There's lots more to do: examine the collection at The Mob Museum, try to win big at Mandalay Bay, take in nature's colorful creations at Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, and head outdoors with Mandalay Bay Beach.
