Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Universal CityWalk has been added to your itinerary. When in Orlando, make a side trip to see NASA Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Merritt Island, approximately Merritt Island away. Pack the 2nd (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Discovery Cove. Have a day of magic on the 6th (Thu) at Disney's Animal Kingdom. There's still lots to do: find something for the whole family at SeaWorld, discover the magic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, get your game on at The Escape Game Orlando, and experience the excitement of Splash Mountain.

To find maps, where to stay, other places to visit, and tourist information, refer to the Orlando day trip website.

The Route module shows you travel options from your home to Orlando. Expect a daytime high around 91°F in July, and nighttime lows around 75°F. You'll set off for St. Petersburg on the 8th (Sat).
