Isla de Vieques

For sixty years until 2003, most of the Isla de Vieques was closed off to the public, with the US Navy using the island's beaches and surrounding waters for drills and testing of new military machinery, such as bombs.
Step out of the city life by going to Balneario Sun Bay and Playa Caracas. Next up on the itinerary: kick back and relax at Playa La Chiva, stroll through Vieques National Wildlife Refuge, take in the waterfront at Malecon, and take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports.

Culebra

With much of Culebra a nature refuge, the tropical island has been protected from overdevelopment, chain hotels, and the cruise set.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Mon): stroll through Flamenco Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Tamarindo and then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas.

Fajardo is a small city and municipality in Puerto Rico (U.S.) located in the east region of the island, bordering the Atlantic Ocean, north of Ceiba and east of Luquillo. On the 12th (Wed), take a peaceful walk through El Yunque Rain Forest. Keep things going the next day: kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Luquillo, and then add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour.
