Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sat): explore the striking landscape of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Here are some ideas for day two: examine the collection at The Mob Museum, get a taste of the local shopping with The Strip, then get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, and finally admire the local landmark of Fountains of Bellagio.

Milwaukee to Las Vegas is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time (CST) to Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is usually a -2 hour difference. While traveling from Milwaukee, expect much hotter days and somewhat warmer nights in Las Vegas, ranging from highs of 101°F to lows of 77°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Sedona.

On the 5th (Mon), take in the dramatic natural features at Cathedral Rock, take in the spiritual surroundings of Chapel of the Holy Cross, then explore the stunning scenery at Oak Creek Canyon, and finally soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 6th (Tue): take a memorable drive along Red Rock Scenic Byway (SR 179), then take in the dramatic natural features at Bell Rock, then hike along Airport Mesa, and finally hike along Devil's Bridge Trail.

Traveling by car from Las Vegas to Sedona takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of flight and taxi. The time zone difference when traveling from Las Vegas to Sedona is 1 hour. In August, Sedona is a bit cooler than Las Vegas - with highs of 89°F and lows of 66°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Page.

Explore Page's surroundings by going to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park (in Monument Valley) and Walhalla Overlook (in Grand Canyon National Park).
