Rochester is a city in the U.S. Escape the urban bustle at Whitewater State Park and Douglas Trail. Get a sense of the local culture at Mayowood Mansion and Plummer House. Situated on the westernmost point of the Lake Superior, Duluth represents a booming port city.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center and Tom's Historic Logging Camp. Visit Stoney Point and Lakewalk for their historical value. Take a break from Duluth with a short trip to Pattison State Park in Superior, about 32 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: look for all kinds of wild species at Willard Munger State Trail, examine the collection at The Duluth Depot, admire all the interesting features of Minnesota's North Shore Scenic Drive, and admire the majestic nature at Jay Cooke State Park.
