Explore hidden gems such as The Getty Center and Mission San Juan Capistrano. Get outdoors at Santa Monica State Beach and Santa Monica Bay. Get out of town with these interesting Los Angeles side-trips: Third Street Promenade (in Santa Monica) and Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum (in Simi Valley). Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Escape the urban bustle at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and Waterskiing & Jetskiing. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at The Mob Museum and The LINQ Promenade. Step out of Las Vegas to go to Overton and see Valley of Fire State Park, which is approximately 1h 10 min away. There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Counts Kustoms, admire the local landmark of Fountains of Bellagio, shop like a local with The Strip, and take an in-depth tour of Titanic.

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Arlington National Cemetery and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
