Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Shop till you drop at The Strip and The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian. The Mob Museum and Pinball Hall of Fame will appeal to museum buffs. Next up on the itinerary: ponder the design of Fountains of Bellagio, try to win big at Bellagio Hotel and Casino, see the interesting displays at The Neon Museum, and take an in-depth tour of Titanic.

Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch and Memorial City Mall. Get a sense of the local culture at Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and George Ranch Historical Park. Change things up with these side-trips from Houston: Pearland Town Center (in Pearland) and Flying Saucer (in Sugar Land).
