A genuine cowboy city, Cody is famous for its nightly rodeos and its proximity to the protected wilderness areas of the world's first national park, now designated as one of the country's World Heritage Sites.
On the 27th (Sun), see the interesting displays at Cody Dug Up Gun Museum, then get engrossed in the history at Buffalo Bill Center of the West, then examine the collection at Cody Firearms Museum, and finally contemplate the long history of Old Trail Town. Billings is the largest city in the state of Montana, and is the principal city of the Billings Metropolitan Area with a population of 166,855.Billings is located in the south-eastern portion of the state and is the seat of Yellowstone County, which had a 2015 population of 157,048. You'll explore and learn at Custer Battlefield Museum and Yellowstone Art Museum. Step out of the city life by going to Pompeys Pillar National Monument and Pictograph Cave State Park. Venture out of the city with trips to Crow Agency (Little Bighorn Battlefield & Custer Battlefield Trading Post & Cafe).
