Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.

In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
You've now added Waikiki Beach to your itinerary. Visit USS Arizona Memorial and National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific for their historical value. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Bishop Museum and Queen Liliuokalani Statue.
