Atlanta

— 18 nights

The Capital of the South

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Take a break from the city and head to North Georgia Canopy Tours and Noah's Ark Rehabilitation Center. Your inner history buff will appreciate Point Park - Lookout Mountain Battlefields and Bellevue. Explore Atlanta's surroundings by going to Fort Oglethorpe (Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park & Chickamauga Battlefield), The Georgia Winery (in Ringgold) and Marietta Confederate Cemetery (in Marietta). Dedicate the 17th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: wander the streets of Virginia-Highland, examine the collection at David J. Sencer CDC Museum, admire the natural beauty at Swan House, and appreciate the extensive heritage of Downtown Newnan.
