Blue Ridge

— 18 nights

Historic High Country

A small resort town located in Georgia's "Historic High Country," Blue Ridge sits right on the national scenic trail that follows the Appalachian mountain range for over 3,300 km (2,100 mi).
Venture out of the city with trips to Crane Creek Vineyards (in Young Harris), Lookout Mountain (Rock City Gardens & Rock City) and Blairsville (Vogel State Park & Brasstown Bald). There's lots more to do: relax in the rural setting at Mercier Orchards, immerse yourself in nature at Amicalola Falls State Park, take in the dramatic scenery at Dry Falls, and surround yourself with nature on The Lost Sea Adventure.

To see other places to visit, where to stay, maps, and more tourist information, use the Blue Ridge trip itinerary builder website.

In September, daily temperatures in Blue Ridge can reach 78°F, while at night they dip to 58°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 21st (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
