Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby.
Attractions like Louisville Mega Cavern and Kentucky Derby Museum make great kid-friendly stops. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Louisville: Switzer Covered Bridge (in Frankfort), Indianapolis (Scottish Rite Cathedral, Children's Museum of Indianapolis, &more) and Lexington (Mary Todd Lincoln House & Unique Horse Farm Tours).
