Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Get a sense of the local culture at Chihuly Garden and Glass and The Museum of Flight. Head to Seattle Glassblowing Studio and Glasshouse Studiofor plenty of shopping. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seattle: Snow Lake Trail (in Mount Rainier National Park), Snoqualmie Falls (in Snoqualmie) and Richmond Beach Saltwater Park (in Shoreline). Spend the 24th (Thu) exploring nature at Dosewallips State Park. The adventure continues: stroll through Alki Beach, make a trip to Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Walker, and kick back and relax at Seahurst Beach Park.

To find where to stay, ratings, reviews, and other tourist information, go to the Seattle online itinerary maker.
