Colonial Williamsburg and Historic Jamestowne will appeal to history buffs. Get a sense of the local culture at Jamestown Settlement and Governor's Palace. Go for a jaunt from Williamsburg to Cape Charles to see Eastern Shore of Virginia National Wildlife Refuge about 1h 15 min away. For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom and Ormond Beach will get you outdoors. Visit Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum and Stetson Mansion for their historical value.
