The town of Telluride is the county seat and most populous town of San Miguel County in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Colorado. Start off your visit on the 18th (Wed): surround yourself with nature on Dave's Mountain Tours, get out on two wheels at Ophir Pass Trail, and then contemplate the long history of Yankee Girl Mine. On your second day here, get a sense of history and politics at San Miguel County Courthouse, then hike along Sneffels Highline Trail, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Valley Floor.
